Ownership
AB InBev owns Beck's worldwide and moved US production to St. Louis in 2012.
Why Watchlist
Beck's was marketed in the US with German-origin cues while the US product was brewed in St. Louis from 2012. A 2015 class settlement approved by the US District Court for the Southern District of Florida (Marty v. Anheuser-Busch) provided refunds and required "Brewed in USA" or "Product of USA" labeling for five years.
Reversibility
What would change our verdict
US packaging names the brewing location prominently after the five-year settlement term.
