Acquired August 2000 by United States Luggage Company, the multi-generational Krulik family enterprise. Sister brand Solo New York is US Luggage rebranded house line, launched 2008. Richard Krulik has been CEO since the acquisition. Krulik family luggage and leather goods lineage traces to 1940 via predecessor company London Leather.
Why Approved
Stable family ownership via US Luggage since 2000. The unconditional lifetime guarantee remains in place and still covers airline damage. Contract manufacturing in Asia is a concern, but the warranty outweighs.
