Ownership
British watch company Zeon has held the name since 1989 (per Wikipedia), with Herald Group of Hong Kong reported as its parent. In 2018 Timex Group took on US, Canada and Mexico distribution; whether that deal continues is unverified.
Why Watchlist
A 2018 release describes Ingersoll as "Dating back to 1892" and as "The True Original" American watch brand. The original US Ingersoll company went bankrupt in 1921 and the last UK Ingersoll factory, in Wales, closed in 1980 (per Wikipedia). A British company has held the name since 1989 and the release does not say where the watches are made.
