Ownership
A group led by Eyal Lalo bought the dormant name in 1991 and set up in Hollywood, Florida. The US retail affiliate, Invicta Stores LLC, filed Chapter 11 in June 2023.
Why Watchlist
Invicta dates itself to 1837 in La Chaux-de-Fonds, Switzerland. Business histories cited by Wikipedia say the Swiss operating company was liquidated in 1982, and the brand has been run from Hollywood, Florida since a 1991 purchase. Most current models reportedly use Japanese movements.
