Ownership
Founded by Tim Masters as an outgrowth of his family's mattress retail business (Quality Sleep Shop, Illinois, operating since 1971). My Green Mattress brand launched after Masters built a custom organic mattress for his daughter Emily, whose chemical sensitivities made commercial options unworkable. Manufacturing happens at the company's own factory in Bartlett, Illinois. The company has never taken outside investment and remains family-owned.
