Francis Staub sold to Zwilling J.A. Henckels in June 2008. Zwilling's sole shareholder since 1970 is Wilh. Werhahn KG, a German family holding. Patient family-conglomerate capital rather than PE.
Why Approved
The ownership chain is the good kind of boring: a family holding with a fifty-year horizon. Made in France remains the central claim for cast iron and no offshoring evidence exists for the cocotte line. Conglomerate status is why the trigger below matters.
