Vitamix's 5, 7 and 10 Year Full Warranties are void if anyone other than Vitamix or an authorized Vitamix Service Provider repairs the blender. They are also void if any part is used with a motor base or container Vitamix has not expressly authorized. Federal rules bar a warrantor from making coverage depend on its own service or parts unless it provides them free. A warranty labeled Full may not require anything of the owner beyond reporting the defect. Vitamix's own 10 Year Limited Warranty already uses the lawful form, excluding damage caused by outside repair or non-genuine parts without voiding coverage for them. The long warranty was one of the reasons this entry was Approved, and the clause was missed when it was seeded. Watchlist until the Full warranties adopt the causation form.
